We are delighted to invite you to our ‘Season Opener’ event on the first Saturday of the Autumn term. This is an informal get-together at Ditton Field for the first Saturday of sport of the new academic year. The sporting schedule for the First Year is as follows: 

8.30-9.30am: Hockey (boys and girls) 

9.45-10.45am: Football (boys and girls*), netball (girls*).  

* Girls to choose either netball or football. 

The annual match between Old Kingstonian Football Club and the KGS First XI will also be taking place. 

Tea, coffee, pastries and bacon rolls will be available from 8.30am. The event is free, but we do ask that you let us know here whether you will be attending so we can cater accordingly. You will use this website and your account to manage your tickets for most KGS events throughout your time at the School.

Students should wear/bring the following: 

• Red/grey Games shirt, black KGS shorts or skort, red/grey Games socks 
• Red mid-layer, black tracksuit bottoms, red KGS waterproof 
• Football: football boots, shin pads 
• Netball: trainers, white trainer socks 
• Hockey: hockey stick, shin pads, mouthguard, astroturf shoes 
• Water bottle 

If any student is listed as needing an EpiPen or an inhaler they must bring it with them to be able to participate.
