On Saturday November 16th, 2024, we welcomed back our alumni for their special 5,10,15, 20 etc. year anniversaries and spent a wonderful day reliving memories of the School! We had alumni travel from far and wide and it was wonderful to see familiar faces but also catch up with alumni we had not seen in some time.

With the help of our wonderful prefects, we were able to show alumni the buildings which they remember, and hear their many stories, but also our new 6th form building. This was followed by a Champagne reception and lovely lunch in Hawkes. Over lunch the Head Master spoke about successes from recent months but he also outlined our plans for the future development of the school and plans for new and improved facilities. 

It was lovely to hear stories of earlier times at KGS and also to welcome back our former Head Master, Mr Sidney Miller and his wife - it was wonderful to see them and we thank them for travelling from Bedford to visit us.

Alumni Celebration Day is one of the highlights of the year for the alumni office and we thank all the alumni who came. We are already in the planning stages for next year so if you left KGS in 1940, 1945, 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020 keep an eye out for events next year.
