In 2022 100 rowers in 21 boats rowed from Henley to the R.C. Sherriff Boathouse all to raise money for RALPHH.
The feeling from the day was that it was tough but a brilliant day out of the water raising money for a very worthwhile cause.
At Kingston Grammar School, rowing is more than a sport – it’s a passion, a tradition, and a source of pride for our community. Over recent years, our rowing squads have shown extraordinary dedication and achieved incredible success.
Every 4 years we choose to give back and this year is no different with the Sponsored Row back for another instalment in September 2026.
Crews of students, alumni and veterans will row from Leander Club in Henley down to the R.C. Sherriff Boathouse in Thames Ditton. 20% of the money raised will be split between our 6 school charities and 80% will be donated to the R.C. Sherriff Boathouse.
10 years ago students, staff, parents, alumni and veterans braved the rain to participate in the Sponsored Row. We are hoping for fine weather this year but we are also hopeful to see some familiar faces back in boats this coming September.
