The Kingston Grammar School Golf Society – KGSGS – is a long-established and active group that holds 9 events a year at a range of good Surrey golf courses that has included in the past Royal Wimbledon, Betchworth, Guildford, Surbiton, The Drift and Bramley. The ‘spirit’ of the Society is relaxed and friendly, not unduly competive.
A singles knock-out event is organised each year and the Champion Golfer of the Year is awarded a putter used by Max Faulkner to win the 1950 Open!
The Society welcomes current and former pupils, parents of current and former pupils and others with a connection to the School. Golfers of any level are encouraged and official handicaps are not required.
Members may attend as few or as many events as they wish. If you would like to receive further information please contact our Secretary, Richard Wickerson, at richardwickerson@hotmail.com.
